FEES FOR PORTRAITS are dependent on the selected medium (oil, pastel., etc.), size of the portrait, number of subjects, and complexity of background
and costume. Fees listed above are BASE FEES for one subject, unframed with a neutral background. For group portraits add 50% to base fee for each
additional subject. For detailed backgrounds or costumes add 30% For fees for larger portraits -- three quarter figure and full length please contact the
studio. The FEE for a portrait will be determined by the date of the first sitting, rather than at the time it is scheduled. A 30% deposit is collected when a
portrait is scheduled. Once the deposit is collected, no other money is usually due until a portrait is completed to both client's and artist's satisfaction.
Exception to this payment schedule may occur for larger size portraits and/or for portraits with more than one subject, or for portraits with a complex
backgrounds. Payment plans are available without interest. Fees are made payable to Edwin S. McVaugh, Jr.When a client requests Mr. McVaugh to
travel outside a prescribed distance, to paint a portrait in a location other than the artist's studio, all reasonable traveling expenses incurred by the artist, to
and from that location, will be paid for by the client, including photographic assistance when deemed necessary by the artist. The client will be provided
with travel expense receipts for items such as fuel, travel tickets, lodging and or workplace rental, and/or photographic assistance. Only travel expenses
verified by receipt will be reimbursed by the client. Miscellaneous services available at additional costs include: appropriate framing assistance,
nameplates, picture lights, shipping, delivery, presentation ceremonies and assistance in hanging a portrait. GUARANTEE: "Your complete satisfaction
is guaranteed or there is no fee. I have maintained this same guarantee for more than 35 years of drawing and painting portraits by commission. It is an
